Energy Grants\anything available?
Hi there
I'm just looking around, I have bought a 3 bed house, literally every penny I had went into it.
It's a 60's house that's had little to no modernisation, and its not energy efficient at all.
A list of things we need to do, at some point:
Double glazing (currently single glazed)
Insulate Lofts
Cavity wall insulation
Replace front and back door
Insulate pipes
I am not in a financial position to do much at all right now, but from what I can tell at least the government will only fund those on low income/in receipt of benefits so we don't seem to qualitfy.
Just wondering if anyone knows of any schemes that might or possibly will be applicable for us
Thanks

Have a shufti on the Energy Savings Trust website and even ask your energy suppliers.
There was some money a couple of years ago but most of it seems to have dried up although there was some talk of the government reviving some aspects of the old Green Deal, however I guess they have other things on their mind at the moment.
