It will be a boost! I was hoping to surprise her with the first chunk of money but I saw her after I’d posted on here earlier and she asked if I was planning to pay it back lol. She didn’t make any demands and just accepted me saying that I would start getting it together. She might not know I’ve gone to great lengths because I want to give her the money but we do on here lol. And either way, I daren’t think how it would have made me feel if I was still sinking under the pressure and had not started on a DMP already, it might have tipped me over the edge of despair! So it feels great to be in control for a change instead of out of it0

Santander are being a bit of a pain. They’ve replied to my secure messages saying sorry you’re having difficulties, your account has been handed over to the recovery team and we cannot forward emails, you have to call. Then another one saying you sent an SOA but we don’t know why
I replied saying I want everything in writing so please provide a postal address. I’m going to give them a week, if I don’t get an address I’ll send everything I’ve already sent to the address I have by special delivery so it has to be signed for

I'm not very good at keeping a diary! I've had 3 NSDs this week and done my weekly shopping for just under £40. I had to spend £20 at the chemist though but I had a bonus £120 so swings and roundabouts I suppose, I can put more than the planned amounts in the envelopes so it's still a win. Oh, I've just realised I agreed to get pizzas for my daughter because she has a friend home with school with her, so I'll have to buy those as well but it will only be shop pizzas rather than expensive takeaway ones.
I've had my first response from my request to make token payments letters, It's from RBS and they are prepared to accept £1.00 per month for 12 months and have frozen interestVery nice of them seeing as I only asked for 6 months! They also gave me notice and info about defaulting, apologised for seeming harsh and uncaring and for causing further upset but explained they have to follow policies. I like RBS, they're not uncaring at all!

Thank you for reminding me! I did get a message back from Santander saying they would write to me and also provided an address for me to send my info to. I thought I’d wait till I got their letter but I’ll put copies of what’s been sent in the post now as I’ve not received it yet.0
