Some of the emulators I used are pcsx2, dos box and Project64.
  • I use Bluestack. It consumes a lot of memory but works well and it is convenient when transfer files. I often download apps from apknite. I just need to drag it from the download folder to Bluestack, I can find the files I copy when using Nox
  • DraStic DS Emulator on techbigs to emulate Nintendo DS games.

I recently came across MAME4droid -- a MAME emulator for Android.

It's nuts -- even my ancient (and otherwise useless) Samsung Galaxy S2 phone from 2011 runs all the games at full speed. :-o

There are two versions available, based on MAME 0.37b5 or 0.139u1:

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.seleuco.mame4all
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.seleuco.mame4droid

The touch-screen controls are fiddly, so you'd probably want an external gamepad to play properly.

Well, thanks to this post I'm now down an X-Box PC controller.

Decided to give Mame another try on the Arcade Classic Wonderboy (used to play this almost every day in the Arcade when I was a kid) ... turns out I don't have the patience I had when I was a kid, so now have a broken controller and a very scuffed wall :rotfl:

:AI love that game! so many coins lost to it as a child

Not really into emulation I have always preferred real hardware but I recently go into the MiSTer FPGA platform. Using it for Neo Geo, NES and arcades but looking to mess around with other cores such as Amiga and the MSX. I will probably try the Spectrum, C64 and Amstrad cores as well though I do have the real hardware for them which I mainly use.
  • I use BlueStacks. It is quite good.
  • I use quite a few nowadays just to update on my original post.

    On mobile phone:

    MyOldboy! Original Gameboy

    MyBoy! Gameboy Colour+

    On PC:
    ePSXe for Playstation 1
    Jnes for Nintendo Entertainment System
Snex9x for Super Nintendo Entertainment System
    NullDC for Dreamcast
    Project64 for Nintendo 64
    BlueMSX for MSX/MSX2
WinUAE for Amiga and Atari ST
    VisualBoyAdvance for Gameboy Original/Colour/Advance
Fuzion for Sega Gamegear, Master System, Genesis or Sega CD

All work nicely on Windows 10

You can use BizHawk for Nes, Snes and Gameboy in 1 emulator if you wanted but I don't like it for some reason.
