Hi all,
I’m hoping someone can help.
Can anyone remember Abbey National giving away free life insurance about 25 years ago? Would anyone on here have any details of the insurance company that handled the policy?

From memory, it was only short term and accidental death cover only.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

Don’t suppose you can remember which insurance company handled it?0

It was Avon Insurance PLC (I still have the certificate). Is it still valid, do you know please?0

Are you deceased and trying to claim?0

I would think it is probably the policy which is dead.0

As far as I can recall it only lasted one year although I seem to remember there was an option to continue with cover (at a cost, so no longer free).0
