A fully settled account looks better than a partially settled one.

But overall a CCJ looks bad full stop

@benmids, if you only partially settle a CCJ then it will still show as unpaid on your credit report. You need to pay in full for it to show as paid

After 6 years the CCJ will drop so if it is close then agreeing a partial settlement will be fine as your credit file is screwed in the short term anyway.
