Wallpapering over soft sheen paint

Hi all,

I am hoping someone can give me some advice if possible.
I am currently in the process of decorating my nursery and it has been painted with a soft sheen however I am wanting to wallpaper over this. I've had a look on google however I'm a bit confused as this seems to be a no no due to the wallpaper not sticking. Will I have to completely remove the paint? Can I just sand off the sheen and size the wall or am I best to not bother with the hassle.

Thanks in advance :)

A quick light sand and it will be fine, just use decent paste.
