I went to Morrisons on Twitter and, all credit to them, they got the pcn cancelled straight away.

OHs firm it seems hadn't yet parted with money. When OH contacted them to say the PCN had been cancelled by PE, the car dept got in touch with the accounts dept who removed the request from the intray.

So all good on this occasion for us, thanks to Morrisons. OH informing colleagues in his dept to let company know immediately if you intend to challenge a PCN as it seems the "we've already paid it" email isn't the actual truth. If anything, it avoids the £10 company admin fee they slap on.

Thanks to all who offered advice.

Oh, if you'd said it was Morrisons we'd have told you they always cancel them when people complain! M's seem to have realised the bad PE contract they are stuck in for a few years and are exercising their power to cancel for all customers, with no quibble.

So glad the daft company hadn't paid it. Clueless!

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Phew! Bullet dodged.

Well done on getting it cancelled and getting the company to back peddle in this instance.

Yes you need to spread the word about this unregulated scam and the unfair method by which your employer thinks it should deal with them.

Please also help us by complaining to your MP.

I'd read Morrison's might cancel, hence I went to them immediately as well as coming here. But at the time I posted on here, I was thinking I'd be asking after payment had been made to PE, making the job that bit harder in my head.

I'm still cross that OHs company are so quick to do what they did tbh.

    Thanks again everyone.
  • Morrison's really are probably the easiest to get parking eye tickets cancelled. Aldi come a close second
