Hi rospoppy, I had a similar experience with Excel.
I contacted the landowners and informed them that the "disabled bays" did not conform to BSI standard codes for disabled bays BS8300:2009 section 4.2.3, and also The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016 (this can be found on the legislation.gov.uk website) for marking of disabled bays. I hope this helps you.0 -
Tinkerbell, do disabled parking bays on private land have to conform to those regulations you mention?0

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

The landowner(of the shopping centre) changed the layout of the "disabled bays" so that they conformed to the BSI standard codes and also suspended all parking charges in these bays until the changes were made. I don't think they would have made these changes if they didn't have to, but maybe I was lucky and so could rospoppy, anything is worth a try.0

They didn't have to, LOL! Well done on stopping the PPC in its tracks for a while.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
