switching Starling to Natwest

Hello, I've recently opened a Starling account for the sole purpose of switching it to Natwest, to get the £150 switch incentive. The account is verified and I've just received the Starling card today. Is there any wait period with Starling - because it's a new account - to initiate the full switch to Natwest, or I can do it now, since the Starling account is up and running? Thanks.

You can do it straight away.

I suggest you put some money into the Starling account before switching, so that there is actually something for NatWest to switch;)

Hi all I read that it was only one £1,500 payment to be put in by end of March is that correct. If it is bank managers wrong lol

Just beware you won’t be able to open another account with starling if you switch/close it.

Thank you, I'm not interested in Starling. My current account banking needs are met with Barclays and Nationwide.

Would £1 be enough to put into Starling, to switch over to Natwest?
