I'm on my own too, teapot, but because I only do one big shop a month, I can use those big vouchers - the one I've arriving tomorrow is £66 reduced to £57. In any case, I'm glad you're feeling better now.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Thanks KC, good you can use the vouchers :money: I tend to order shopping every couple of weeks so use Asd@ as they have a lower minimum of £25 per order. My freezer is pretty small so I can't store lots in it. I have to open the fridge door so there is enough room to take stuff out of the top drawer of the freezer! As I'm on my own I keep bread in the freezer and just take slices out when I want them and the bread takes up about half of one of the drawers
Anyhoo the order arrived early about 8.45pm so have put it all away assisted by the big old furry boy who seemed convinced it must all be for him
Family came round this affy which was lovely but as expected all biscuit type edibles were demolished so good that stocks are now replenished :rotfl:
No snow here today so if none tomorrow I'll pop out as need to buy a birthday card.0 -

Frosty and very cold here today but no sign of snow here so far. Once the frost melts I'll venture out well wrapped up.
Emails checked and answered, no online sales for over a week so might list something else as that sometimes kick starts it.
Big pot of scotch broth bubbling away..... yum though it always tastes better on the second day after 'maturing'0 -
Emailed Prolific as only been eligible for one survey for the last 2 weeks whereas before was doing a couple a day sometimes and certainly several most weeks. Apparently my account is in 'good standing' and I need to be patient! Lol story of my life v:p Also got screened out of a Onepoll survey for being a childless widow - it was a £1 survey as well.
On a happier note I listed something on Amazon and almost immediately something else sold. I guess its probably coincidence but does make me wonder if the old rumour about listing prompting sales is true. So, if its not slippery out tomorrow will go and post.
I went out this afternoon and posted a couple of things and bought a birthday card. Also had a coffee and scone £4.30.
Going to look into opening a new bank account and switching one that doesn't get any interest - maybe one with a linked saving acct. The account that my online sales go into doesn't get any interest now either but I've been reluctant to change as I'm not sure if they make you go through verification again as thats a bit of a mare. Will have to check it out.0 -
Good news on the sale.
You could try TSB. 5% interest on current account balances up to £1,500.

Lol I won't be rushing, I don't seem to rush into anything these days!
That account doesn't have any DDs on it at the moment so I might need to move some there first if they are required.
Let me know if you find the referral link and if it has a use by date :cool:0 -
That's the next stage for me - finding an additional high interest account. Beanie, keep looking for the referral code!2023: the year I get to buy a car0
