I bought 3 raspberry canes for £8 from Morrisons, years ago, before I was sensible enough to start noting names of cultivars. They fruit prolifically (apart from last year in the heat) summer AND autumn. So I've never known what to do about pruning, and have just left them.They are an EYESORES!!!!0
