Hi,
I have an MBNA credit card which I've used for balance transfer however the 0% period is coming to an end so I'm on the lookout for another deal.
I've looked at the eligibility checker on here and it's giving me a 95% chance of being accepted for a card with Virgin money.
I have something at the back of my mind that is saying MBNA and virgin money are part of the same group so I would not be able to have both cards
Does anyone know if that's the case? I'd hate to go through applying then be turned down

I've had a couple of MBNA cards for a few years and recently applied for and got a Virgin Money card without a problem. I even transferred a balance from the one of the MBNA cards to Virgin too.0

The group split into separate entities although they do share old employees and offices etc.0

MBNA is now part of Lloyds Banking Group0

Thanks all - just been looking through some old files and realised I had a virgin money card a few years ago - I closed it and paid it off about 7 years ago.

All I can tell you is I have both cards.
There is nothing on either card forbidding the other card been used for a BT to each other.0
