Bank of Scotland current account - internet probs

Has anyone else had any problems registering themselves to use internet banking with this account? A member of my family has been trying for at least the last 24 hours to register (on 3 different computers) and when he gets to a certain point it just takes him back to the first step again. I'm worried he may harm a laptop soon!
Would be interested to know if anyone else is having this issue.
P.S. Virgin broadband going at a snail's pace isn't helping matters...
