I'd like to print 4 photos on an A4 sheet, but how?

I appear to be in the fortunate position, in that HP have sent me two colour inks and I know, they could last many years, due to me not printing much.
So it seems an ideal opportunity to print of some normal size photo's, four to an A4 sheet. I've tried unsuccessfully in that I'm only getting one per sheet. Is there a piece of software that would allow me to drag/drop of whatever in order that I can get the ft our to a sheet please. I use a chromebook.

I can't help on the question, I don't use Chromebooks, although I am pretty sure there is a way of printing 4 photos on an A4 sheet without installing additional software.
That being said, don't expect the ink cartridges to last years, once you've opened them. If you don't print anything for a few weeks, you'll probably need to replace them anyway.0 -
Have you tried inserting them into a google doc?0

I am still using the original colour cartridge from November 2017.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

It's a matter of whether this option is in the printer driver. Presumably yours doesn't have this option.
Otherwise set up a 2 x 2 table in a Word document, and insert one photo into each cell. You may have to fix the height of both rows to be the same. Then print the page.0 -

If you have office installed on your computer you can use publisher. Under Settings, in the Pages drop-down list, select Multiple pages per sheet and the number in Copies of each page.0

A Chromebook isn't going to have Office installed, is it?0
