Has anybody used one of these hand tape dispensers
I had a tape gun but my daughter has decided to borrow it (long term I think) so was going to buy a new one, but noticed on a Youtube video a chap with one of these.
Looked to be quite good
there are also 'all metal' versions

I'd look for a seller with better feedback, Neg or Neut every 21 sales this month.0

Looks really cheap and nasty plus I don't actually see how it is supposed to work - maybe I need to watch the youtube video

If you were to buy it I'd be tempted to get a metal version as that thing looks like it'd snap after 2 hours use.
Personally I'd get another tape gun, I've had mine for 2 years and still going strong - you can pick them up on Ebay from about £5 to £15 depending on what you want to pay.0 -

He's using both hands to cut the tape, at least with a tape gun you can hold with one hand while using a tape gun in the other.
I bought one of these, they can be bought in different widths.

Ideal for pulling off a bit of clear tape to seal a corner and can be done with one hand - as long as the base is a good heavy one.0 -
You can use it with one hand, not sure on this specific one but I've used one quite similar. He's using both hands to cut the tape, at least with a tape gun you can hold with one hand while using a tape gun in the other.
It's alright. If you tape one or two boxes a day it's ok. I prefer a normal tape gun. I found you had to use your hand to stick the tape down before pulling it across the box..0 -
Possibly better than nothing but the small tape rolls wont last long.Has anybody used one of these hand tape dispensers0 -
Aldi are selling these at the moment for £1.99. I used one over Christmas and it worked well enough.

While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0 -
They aren't small, they hold the same size tape rolls as a tape gun. 60mm is over 2 inches.Norman_Castle wrote: »Possibly better than nothing but the small tape rolls wont last long..0 -

It's an odd picture and looks small. I was buying some stuff from China and added a couple of these, they worked out around £1 for two. They're worth it for the price but as I said earlier I wouldn't recommend for constant use. I'm surprised they haven't yet made it to pound shops, that I've seen.Norman_Castle wrote: »Ahh right.
