Stopping crap emails!

Options
Keep recieving emails from someone who I do not know where have got my email address saying "bad payment" in subject line but then when you look at it it gives me loads of prices for software / hardware. i have replied to these telling them to "**** off" and other general expletives (which would make gordon ramsay look tame) but to no avail. I do not know the persons incoming email address but I wish to block these - but how? Can it be done?

Thanks in advance for anyones help

If you have the same subject line, then you can create a rule in outlook to send all emails containing "Sex Toys Cheap" e.t.c send to the deleted items folder. Otherwise norton is good for spam protection. What ever you do is do not reply to emails or click links as your email WILL be passed on to other spammers. I suggest you get a new email address. I bought a domain name from session9.co.uk and an instamail account and works great. Everytime I get to much spam, I delete and change my email address with a click of a button, they also offer spam protection to, When the server gets your mail and its spam, then it writes the Subject line of the email as "******SPAM****** Get Sex Toys", so you then can create a rule to, as said above, to direct any subject line with ******SPAM******, send to deleted items folder. Easy to get rid of a lot of spam, the spammers do get better at getting round spam filters, but still makes it hard for them and better than no protection. Hope this helps.
    Kind Regards

I use mailwasher to filter spam, its very good the latest build as has some good inbuilt filters along blocking known spam from a spam list called spamcop.

I used to get plaugered with Korean and Chinese rubbish and since using lastest build 2 weeks ago, I havent had one.

As said dont reply to emails or bounce them using certain spam programs as often they emails come from drone machines that are infected with trojans and spyware etc.

No longer a user, goodbye folks. PLEASE delete my account. Thank you

Plenty of anti-spam software out there just like MailWasher; some are good, some not so good. Even better, some of them are free!

Other options are as follows: find someone to filter your spam for you (usually involves paying and/or switching to a different e-mail provider), or set up your own spam-blocking server. The former cannot be controlled, and the latter is relatively difficult to implement. Software provides a good middle-ground.

Besides those linked to above, I've also found a couple of others that you might consider; Frontgate MX and SpamFighter.

I had this and did what you did, but the only thing that works properly is changing email adress.

Most good email providers now have a 'report spam' facility (Yahoo, for example, has a button within the actual email page itself). Once you click the button (you do not need to know the email address), it will report it as spam and block the address completely so you don't get any more emails from that address.

Not quite as helpful if you're getting the same email from multiple addresses, which can happen, but worth trying :)

And some ISPs allow you to block a sender at the server e.g. Blueyonder.

Do you have webmail for that account too? If so, log on to it and look in the help section to see if you can simply block all messages from this address.

Dont fully know how i managed to get them to stop but i used to get 20-30 junk emails a day sometimes even more and they were crude - extensions and viagra etc and i bought nortons internet security 6 months ago for many reasons and it has a spam filter in and im with telewest for broadband and all you do is teach the programe what is spam and what you want to keep, ok for the first few weeks it can make errors and dump joke emails but just check before deleting, anyway now it seems to be more or less clear, yesterday i had 6 emails and only 1 was unsolicitated but a right click and add to spam sorted that out.
The more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
