Hi All,

I would like to switch my current account using uSwitch service from HSBC to M&S bank to get some rewards.

With HSBC I have got a current account, credit card and also two personal loans. All these accounts I can see in in one HSBC panel.

If I move to M&S Bank I am guessing my current accound will be closed and I will still see my credit card and loan accounts?

Is it a problem to switch to a different bank if I have a loan with the old one? I do not, but what if I have used a overdraft on my account? Will this be transferred to the new bank?

Please can anybody help? I am just not sure if I am eligible to switch :)

  • You would need to ask HSBC.

If you are getting preferential rates on the loan or CC because you have an account with them then you may invalidate and lose these
