Replacement TSB debit cards

My first ever TSB debit card expires at the end of this month. Can anyone tell me when they usually send a replacement? My main account is with FD and I am used to getting a replacement a full month ahead so I am surprised not to have received it yet. Thanks

I remember reading reports a few months ago that TSB were having problems with their systems when it came to issuing new cards.

Since my card was two months away from expiry date, I rang up TSB and requested a manual issue of a new card to ensure I got one!!

Strange. I have just been on the phone to TSB after a struggle to speak to a real person. She insisted that a new one has been ordered but won't reach me until a week before the expiry date. I said that I knew of someone getting it a month in advance and she said that you must have requested it!

Before ringing today, I did try requesting one online but then wondered whether they would just send one with the same expiry date as my current one!

I did get my new card this week. I checked the start date of the card and it was in December 2018 so i suspect that it should have been sent out at least a couple of weeks earlier.
