First Active mortgages

Hi, I wonder if there is anyone that can help please?
I had a mortgage with a company called First Active around 2000-2003.
I’m guessing that I may well have had PPI on this mortgage but having tried numerous times I have been unable to find an account number.
I believe in 2004 RBS brought this company and having tried them, Paragon and Ulster bank I’ve been told they cannot find any records of my mortgage. We definitely had one.
Does anyone know of a way of finding this information or who to contact?

How would having an account number help your complaint?

First Active mortgages were put in place by brokers/advisers/estate agents. So, the lender won't know what insurances existed.

And brokers/advisers/estate agents weren't regulated prior to 2005

The FCA says;

Of course, If RBS has already told you that hold no records.....
