This really is the hazard with buying off-plan. Your contract will undoubtedly say that the drawings are only advisory, and are subject to change due to external forces.
If the Building Regulations are what have said "No door there, because of the risk", then you are simply never going to get it changed by the developer. You could always get a door fitted once you move in, of course...0 -
yes but the risk sounds like a load of rubbish - what health and safety risk would there be from creating an additional exit to a property?
You may have recourse depending on the wording of the contract, so try a bit harder to get them to play ball - like asking them to explain the health and safety issue to you0 -
My neighbours house (5 year old estate) has their kitchen door open onto driveway. Not added after build.0
