UKPC- should I ignore or will I be taken to court

Hi,
I hope you all are well. I am in a very sticky dilemma and I feel constantly sick and on the edge because I’m worried what will happen to em. I was on my own driving with my daughter and she was crying bare in mind she was only 7 and a had months at the time, so I went to a retail car park to park my car. However, since it was Christmas was nearing there was no parking which I could see close to the shop so I quickly parked in a disabled spot which I know was wrong. This was only due to needing to go buy formula and feed her ASAP as she was crying throughout the traffic in the A13. This was only for health and safety reason as I could not drive with a wailing baby. I made a appeal which I did not hear back from. Four weeks later I receive debt collection threats, when I called they were rude and told me I had to pay, one of the guys was talking so rudely constantly asking ‘do you have your bank card?’ You need a lawyer. I was so hurt, then He states I have an email with a space and they did respond to my appeal on the following day when I made the appeal which I believe is a total lie. The email which he mentioned was wrong compared to the one gave, I know this because I got an email confirmation stating that I had made the appeal so they are lying. I’m worried they would take me to court and I don’t know what to do. I have ignored the first two debt collection letters.

please edit your post and remove the words "MY , ME , MYSELF & I" , replacing with DRIVER for what happened on the day and KEEPER for anything else that happened since that day

also add paragraphs so we can easily read it if you want advice on its contents , as its one great wall of text at the moment

You will need to use a laptop or PC to view this forum properly or you will never find your way around. Borrow one if you don't have one.

You need to read the NEWBIES FAQS thread (no link...). You need to see the forum properly and you will find it. And you will be able to edit posts and hop around threads.

Forget about debt collectors, as you have fund out they are disgusting low life Muppets that suck money out of people for the fun and profit it gives no other reason!
Calm down this is not a fine or anything official it's an invoice, read the newbies thread, have a cuppa and come back here for more help.
  • In answer to your titles question do NOT ignore UKPC because they definitely would go down the court route. Take notice of what people say on here and they will help you fight them.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
