Late Payments on Credit Report

I made a mistake of defaulting on a Credit Card at my previous address 3 years ago
Or at least I thought it had defaulted.
The Card had a credit limit of £650 and the balance on it stood at £660.
I have not used the card for over 3 years nor made any payment.
Having looked at my Experian Credit Report recently, I have noticed that this card is showing as 'in use' and not in default. The balance still stands at £660.
The last 27 months are showing as -6 late payments markers.
Also, on the report the credit limit is showing as being increased to £900 24 months ago, then increased again to £1,200 12 months ago.
Does anyone know why Late Payment Markers are showing rather than a Default?
Thanks.

It’s entirely at the companies discretion, they should of defaulted you, but maybe they still want you as a customer, hence the limit increases.

I remember receiving a default letter from them about 3 years ago at my previous address.
They blocked the card, then closed the account and I stupidly never took any action to rectify the debt and moved away.
I don't have the card anymore.
Only thing that puzzles me is why they are increasing the credit limit whilst I have no access to the account now?0 -
Why don't you 'phone your creditor and enquire as to the status of your account?I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.
