Hi
My cat walked across my laptop this evening and sent the screen black. After not being able to get it back to normal I thought I would do system restore for a time this afternoon. I have done it before on previous computers with no problem but not this one.
Anyway, that was about 3 hours ago and it still has the timer and Please wait while your Windows files and settings are being restored. System Restore is restoring the registry. I am on my old laptop and have googled how long it should take and have read it says about half an hour to 45 minutes so I don't know what is going on. Is there a simple solution to this. I have Windows 10.
