Post Office error message - Technical Difficulties - We are sorry....

Have been getting this error message time and again on four different device over the space of a week when trying to open an online account.
I seem to remember a similar error message some time ago.
The Customer Services are as much use as a chocolate fireguard.
Has anyone (or can anyone remember) a work around that seems to ring a very distant bell.
Error message:
Technical Difficulties - We are sorry - we are currently experiencing technical difficulties. Please try again in a few hours.
Thanks in advance

Are you using an unusual browser their web site doesn't work with? If so try Chrome.0

Don't open an account with them. It's more hassle than it's worth!

+1 for the above advice. Stay clear of post office on-line accounts....it will end in tears, and their "Customer Service" isn't........"It's everybody's fault but mine...."0

Not unusual.
Have tried Chrome on a laptop, tried on a kindle, tried on an iPad and tried on a mobile
Also tried whilst logged in and whilst logged off..
The CS haven't got a clue and seem quite accepting (and aware) of the error.
What a crock of proverbial0 -
The post office online savers fulfill a need for me.
Though whenever I need to do anything, it will only let me do one thing at a time. Change a name of account and then make an internal transfer? Log in, change name, log out, log back in, make transfer.
It’s quite comical and clearly not fit for purpose but I don’t have too much need to do lots of things with it.0 -

Netscape Navigator, NCSA Mosaic, or maybe GO POSAVER on CompuServe :-)
