Have been getting this error message time and again on four different device over the space of a week when trying to open an online account.

I seem to remember a similar error message some time ago.

The Customer Services are as much use as a chocolate fireguard.

Has anyone (or can anyone remember) a work around that seems to ring a very distant bell.

Error message:

Technical Difficulties - We are sorry - we are currently experiencing technical difficulties. Please try again in a few hours.

Thanks in advance

Are you using an unusual browser their web site doesn't work with? If so try Chrome.

Don't open an account with them :). It's more hassle than it's worth!

+1 for the above advice. Stay clear of post office on-line accounts....it will end in tears, and their "Customer Service" isn't......

    Not unusual.

Have tried Chrome on a laptop, tried on a kindle, tried on an iPad and tried on a mobile

Also tried whilst logged in and whilst logged off..

The CS haven't got a clue and seem quite accepting (and aware) of the error.

    What a crock of proverbial

The post office online savers fulfill a need for me.

Though whenever I need to do anything, it will only let me do one thing at a time. Change a name of account and then make an internal transfer? Log in, change name, log out, log back in, make transfer.

It’s quite comical and clearly not fit for purpose but I don’t have too much need to do lots of things with it.

Netscape Navigator, NCSA Mosaic, or maybe GO POSAVER on CompuServe :-)
