TV aerial broken?

Hi all

I have done away with sky subsrciption and purchased a youview plus box. However, when tuning channels, i am only able to pick up subscription channels and regular channels like BBC 1 etc.

When on the tuning screen it says:

TV aerial channels 0
Subscription channels

Does this likely mean my aerial is not working at all??

I wouldn't have known as my Sky box, of course, receives channels through the satellite dish

Does the screen info say, analogue channels 0? If so its because the analogue transmitters have been turned off. How many digital channels do you receive?

No. All it says is:

TV aerial channels 0
Subscription channels 75

If you have box connected to internet it will bring premium channels that way, sounds like you need a new aerial, but surely your old sky box still gives you all the free to air channels via your dish?

Yes, to be honest we've been watching freeview channels through the sky box for several months since our sky deal expired. My wife wants to be able to pause, record and rewind etc. So we needed a new box

No. Nobody receives analogue channels any more.

You could try this........
On the you view remote press the home button
Then select settings
Then select TV signal quality
It should show if you are receiving a signal

Have you got a terrestial aerial ? And is it connected to your youview box?
