Trace debt recovery

Hi all

I made the stupid mistake of calling trace before I read all the forums on here to ignore. I told them I was unaware of the parking fine and they insisted on the phone I set up a payment plan. I was very scared so I agreed (stupid me)
I have just received a letter saying they want my debt payed in full. Shall I just ignore it even though I contacted them?
I just need advice on what I can do now. Shall I ignore everything they send or because I stupidly called them have I put myself in a pickle?

no idea because you have not provided enough information about why there is an alleged debt outstanding or to whom

NO, you are still OK but you must stop phoning money scammers
    who have 100% no clout

Set up a payment plan indeed .... don't you see the TV about giving details to scammers ?

IGNORE THE PLEBBIES and block them on your your phone

    IGNORE IGNORE IGNORE
and wait to see what happens next, then come back here

Like I said in the other thread, only start a thread when you actually need help (not about debt firms, please, please). No threads about them.

  • I parked in a car park and got a fine. I ignored all 3 fines as I paid for the parking ticket initially. It then went over to trace debt recovery and ignored 3 of there letters until I started to get worried with how many I had received.
I then called them up to ask why getting the letters and they stated because I didn’t pay my fine from another company as then it was passed to them. I said I received letters and ignored them as I paid for the parking during the hour I was there. They said I didn’t pay and I have to set up a plan. I asked for evidence and they said we can send you out all the previous letters. I know I payed the parking ticket initially but I got so worked up as I have never receive anything like this before that I told them I will set up a plan and now they have sent me another letter asking for me to pay it up in full. I just wanted abit of advice on how to move forward. Have I got myself in a pickle because I contacted them? Or should I try and contact the initial parking company firm to show them that I did pay for the initial parking ticket

Debt letter stage needs no discussion and I already told you what to do, on the first thread you posted on. Did you miss what I said there, for you to do?

You did NOT get a fine just a scammers invoice.

If you have proof you paid that's great.

Just wait now, trust us we know the way the scammers work.

All Trace are is sewer vermin who send out secondhand bog paper .. OUCH ..... don't touch it ...... remain disease free
