Judgement for claimant (in default)

Hello
Long story short, I had letters from a solicitor acting on behalf of a parking ticket company advising I owed money for a parking ticket in Leeds, which I have never been to. Prior to this I had no letters, no ticket on my car or through the post.
I replied to the solicitors explaining this and saying I would happily cooperate once I had been provided with the relevant evidence. The solicitors ignored every letter and today I have received a judgement for claimant (in default) letter. Is this a CCJ that’s already registered? And can anyone provide advise on how I can dispute this? (Other than the n244 form which iv researched). I’m about to apply for a mortgage and really need to sort this.
I have never received the court claim form which Iv read about either.
Thanks

Search the forum for Set Aside and you will find advice on how to proceed. There have been some set aside posts today so look at today's threads. You need to act quickly now that you have discovered the CCJ. Is there anything in the judgement that gives you evidence that it might be a case of "mistaken" identity or an incorrect VRN that is similar to yours?0

check with the CCBC who and where they sent the court forms to, and when
its rare for this stage to fail and royal mail are very efficient, so try to find out WHY you have not received the court claim forms, as this could be crucial
to say you have not received any paperwork is not good enough, because these processes work very well as long as people update their address promptly and also their V5C as well
so get to the nitty gritty of finding where the leak was , before you stand any hope of plugging it0 -
Yes it is. Advice is to do the N244 set aside along with a Witness Statement and a Draft Order with SIX points to it that you hope your Judge will agree to Order. The solicitors ignored every letter and today I have received a judgement for claimant (in default) letter. Is this a CCJ that’s already registered?
So search for the forum for set aside six point Order & you will see what to do.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
