New Sony Ericsson Media Manager Software - Min system specs?

Hi all, I recently upgraded my phone (to a w910i) and want to try 'SenseMe' feature out, but need to have the Sony Ericsson Media Manager software analyse my music and then transfer to my phone.
My desktop PC's died a death and I've resorted to using my laptop (which has 490 ish Mb RAM (after sharing some with the onboard GFX card).
Thing is, this Son software won't install as I don't have 512bm RAM.
I'm pretty confident the machine will run it, and wondered if there was a way to get my laptop to report a different figure (tell a little lie) in order to get the software installed.
Any ideas?

The software does not scan your PC during install (or ever, actually) to verify that you have 512 MB or more of RAM, so not meeting this requirement would not prevent you from installing. If you are able to install the app (try booting in 'Safe Mode' so unnecessary processus aren't taking away from your available limited resources), you will most likely not have very good performance of the app. Adding the SensMe data to your music files is generally a slow process (taking several seconds per track), so you should anticipate that this is going to take a very long time on a PC that doesn't meet (or just barely meets) the minimum system specs. It may not be so painful if you only have a few songs on your laptop to which you want to add the SensMe data. SensMe is added to MP3s and MP4s that you rip from CD with the app. There is also an option in Settings to add the SensMe on the tracks that you transfer to your phone (rather than adding this to your entire MP3 collection).0
