Parking Eye gave me CCJ for parking for 15 minutes 3am in the morning!

I think am in a big problem.
- Got a PCN in from Parking Eye because I parked for 15 minutes 3 am in the morning. There were no lights so impossible to see any signs. (Proof is on Google Street View).
- Ignored the letters from ParkingEye and didn't bother appealing.
- Got a letter from Northhampton County Court Business Centre with fine of £197. CCJ Issued on 20 Nov 2018
- binned the court letter (got told it's fake court).
- It has been more than a month since the CCJ was issued. So cannot get the CCJ removed by paying.

I guess now my only option is to apply for the judgment to be set aside.
Been trying to fill out the N244 form and struggling
Have I got any chance to get out of this CCJ?

You need a valid reason to get a CCJ set aside. Ignoring everything unfortunately is not a good enough reason. I'm sorry that is not the answer you are looking for.

Reasons a court might except would include for example, moving house after the alleged event and never receiving anything.

The advice to ignore has not been given here since the law changed in 2012.

If this was a residential parking issue in your own or own demised space, you might get some traction, but I can't offer any other advice other than complain to your MP about this unregulated scam.

I suggest you delete your the post you have just made.

I will not be answering your first question, and if you choose to take that action you could be in more trouble than having a CCJ on your credit file.

You should look up the interpretation act concerning your second question about delivery of post.

You have 2 choices. Either pay it or don't pay it.

If you pay then your credit file will show it as satisfied. Your credit report won't recover for several years but creditors may look more favourable at you if everything remains good for a few years. How long this is can be anyones guess.

If you don't pay it then your credit file will be trashed for 6 years. Currently PE don't seem to be taking enforcement action although this could change at some point.

If you don't need credit for the next six years there might be some merit in sitting tight and seeing if any enforcement action actually happens. Obviously this depends on your personal circumstances.

A third, but highly unlikely option, is to get the idiot who told you you ignore court papers to pay it.

I didn't see the post that seems to have been removed but if it involved telling the court porkies then don't even think about it. Not unless you want to sleep in a bunk bed and have soap on a rope for Christmas.
