Hi, can anyone recommend the best way to move money from french euro account to english building society?

Depends on how much. If a large sum (>£10k?) then you would be best using an FX broker. There is an MSE article on this - suggest you do a search.
If it is a smaller amount, a telegraphi transfer should be OK. However, some BS a/c may not accept them - check with yours first.In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0
