Together one select
I had my electricity contract with One select cancelled when they ceased trading and tranferred (By Ofgem???) to Together Energy. Although they claim their rates are only 3.5% higher than what I was paying this is untrue. My monthly payment has risen from £36 per month to £56 per month despite the fact that my account with One Select was in credit when they ceased trading, so £36 per month was obviously sufficient.
I have today taken advantage of MSE Cheap Energy Club offer and tranferred to Bulb Energy at £40 per month.I understand this rate is variable so "might" need to change again if they hike their rates. Make sure you look carefully at the energy companies actual charges if you are going to change. In my case this is a standing charge plus separate rates for day use electricty and night use electricity as I live in an apartment where there is no gas supply. You might get an unpleasant surprise!!

Welcome to MSE.
I agree, that is an untrue claim.
I suggest you read again what Together Energy told you.
Some people on this site suggest you also look carefully at the financial position of a potential supplier. There is a thread posted today with some news regarding the new supplier you have now chosen
Sit down for that "unpleasant surprise!!"0
