Travel to Theatre

Options
Hi,

We are booked to go to see the Cursed child in February on a Sunday. The children are in school the next day so we need to travel home same day but I am wondering about transport. We will be travelling down the M1 and I would prefer to park north of London centre if possible (with free or cheap parking) and travel in on train/tube/bus. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am contemplating going in on Saturday and staying overnight beforehand so the parking would possibly need to be for 36 hours ish.

Thank-you for you help :)

Not sure about North London but I do know there is a lot of free parking in Kensington on a Sunday. We have often parked a few streets to the north of Gloucester Road station and then got either the tube or an Uber for the rest of the trip.
