My Ether Wallet help!
London2018
Hi,
Hoping someone can help! I was given some tokens from a company I worked for last year, and they are in a wallet (my Ether Wallet). I am now thinking I would like to sell them, but I have no idea how! I can get into my wallet, but can see no option how to sell them. I think I may have to covert them to ETH (I am just guessing from googling things!), but I have no idea how I go about this. I would be most grateful for any help or recommendations
Thanks

First what tokens does your wallet hold? They may or may not be tradeable and may or may not be worth trading.0

It holds IXT, which I think are tradable?0

6 cents each at time of writing with a total market cap of almost nothing ($2-3 million depending on which exchange you believe).
Do you have enough IXT that it would make a difference to your life selling them? Or would it be better just to hold on to them in case they get pumped again and you manage to cash out at that point? (This is extremely unlikely, but if you'd only get a few quid from selling them, I see no reason to go through the hassle, just so you can kick yourself if they get pumped again.)
Sorry, I don't know anything about the mechanics of selling. If your employer gave you the tokens, I would have thought they could help you with how to actually cash them in.0 -
It seems they are only tradeable on one rather obscure Hong Kong based exchange (https://hitbtc.com/ - I have no knowledge of this site and for all I know it could be operated by scammers). If you really wanted to trade them, you'd need to register an account there, transfer your tokens there (at some small cost), exchange them (at some unknown cost you'd be advised to find out), then transfer the ETH somewhere you can exchange for cash (at some unknown cost you'd be advised to find out).
The cost of going through that process can be high and they usually hit you hardest when you try to withdraw.0 -
I don't use My Ether Wallet, so unfortunately, I can't give you a direct answer. But I'm a member of Revain crypto community where epople share their experience in using wallets, cards, exchanges and projects. So, I can recommend to check MyEtherWallet reviews - https://revain.org/wallets/myetherwallet, maybe you will find some useful info there.-1

Epople are an ancient race of aliens who once populated Earth and hid clues in artefacts that led humans to develop the blockchain. The Revain are a secret cult who worship them and have prophesied their return and the dawn of a golden crypto era.Are these epople from another planet? They seem to speak a different language to mainstream saving and investing.0 -

I heard the Epople were famous for making roller-coasters, really, really scary roller-coasters!:rotfl:Think first of your goal, then make it happen!0 -

A wise old Revain once told me that it's easier to cope with the volatility if you assume you lost all your money at the start of the journey. Then if you get anything back it's all upside.0
