Hit and run making a claim against me!
Last month I was ever so slightly hit at the rear right side of my van on a backed up busy roundabout, I immediately pulled over to excess damage/exchange details but the other driver took off down the exit. I had zero damage (she hit the metal runner of my tail lift), I noticed her bumper was hanging down on one side though.
I didn't chase her or report it as, well no damage my end (i did mention it to my boss who laughed it off). However i did have a dash cam and kept the footage never the less.
Today i get a call from another member of staff saying a claim has been made for the incident with damage to her passenger side and that i drove off. After checking the footage it seems she already had damage on the passenger side before she hit me and shows me pulling over and her driving off (unfortunately cant make out the REG).
Now whats the likely hood of her claim being successful with this evidence, the actual bump wasn't recorded as it was at the rear so that's her word against mine and could she get done for fraudulently claiming i'd caused damage and/or driven off?

You can prove your case but I'd be alerting the insurance very quickly about it as you are supposed to report all incidents to the insurer regardless of whether a claim is being made. Obviously the dash cam footage shows she's lying, how long you want to keep the ace in your hand is up to you, let her tell a pack of lies and stitch herself up before you produce the card and show her to be totally unbelievable or just report it and be done with it and she'll be told where to go by the insurer.
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

A condition of your insurance is ALL accidents should be reported even if not making a claim. Might even be sensible reporting this to the police. It is an offence to drive off after an accident.0

Surely the dashcam shows that you did stop, so she isn't going to get very far saying you didn't. That's especially true if your camera footage shows her driving off.
Make sure you keep that memory card safe!If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
The only reason why I didn't report it was because it seemed a bit pointless telling the insurance/police I was hit, have absolutely no damage/marks and don't know anything about the other vehicle apart from its gray and maybe a Honda.0

But from a legal point of view you know you’ve been involved in an accident where technically the other driver hasn’t.0 -
Well she did know as she made the claim not me...0

you reported it to your boss who presumably owns and insures the van, it was up to him to report it.0
