Sounds like you and the DC's are all having it really rough at the moment. Will it be a long shift for BF? If you can change who goes in easily enough maybe you could 'owe' him one for the future.
Just watch for May getting dehydrated, her sickness has been going on for a few days now hasn't it? Hope that doesn't come across wrongx
Thanks Hun, I’ve been trying to get May to drink. She’s not been sick again but has an awful high temp. Same with a Roo. May hasn’t got out of bed all day. They’re both in bed and I’m hoping asleep. I’m also in bed. I still don’t feel good, I’ve just tried some cereal and coffee and managed half of both. We’re living on very little in the house as only BF is actually eating.
Have just sold something on a BIN on eBay. So that’s £20 which I was really surprised about! Going to have to get myself together to post everything as haven’t been able to as yet.0 -
List on ebay now, there's plenty of people buying. Just seen you have.
Cleaning stuff is all the same, it's just named differently.
Hope you are all better soon x
Hey JWIL thanks Hun.
I’m so pleased about the anti bac spray idea I had. I didn’t realise people used so little cleaning products. Don’t get me wrong I don’t use loads of stuff, I’m not of the Hincharmy variety, but I usually have antibacterial floor cleaner, antibac worktop spray, bathroom spray and bleach. For those of you that only have two products, how do you get your bathrooms clean? I have to really scrub mine with bathroom cleaner to get them clean. Maybe were just super dirty?!
BF hasn’t noticed the antibacterial spray switch and he uses it like it’s going out of fashion, so that’s a great money saver. Other things I consider big money savers, I have switched coffee. Now I am an instant coffee fiend and only like Nescaf! gold or kenco which you can usually find on offer, but I thought I would try Lidl’s version. Now don’t get me wrong it doesn’t taste quite the same. And it took me a couple of cups to get used to it but I’m a complete convert now! It’s half the price I’ve paid in the past for coffee, so that’s a massive win! Have also started using Lidl deodorant which is super cheap and fine, toothbrushes which again are half the price, and hand wash which again is at least half the price. Something I have learned is that I usually think I’m getting ‘a good deal’ in Tesco etc when things are on offer, but if I just buy an unbranded option it is so much cheaper!!!!
Thanks everyone for your kind wishes and advice. I really do appreciate it x0 -
Ok so basically I’m going to be doing one less shop, I’m going to try and go shopping tomorrow if not Sunday. I’m just going to try and roll the money over but I’m hoping to spend £5 less than I would have done so I can put that in the pot toward the £242. Need to workout what that is down to at the moment as have had some eBay money in.

Perhaps try to add a bag of lentils to your shopping list, as they are great for bulking dishes out and lentil and bacon soup is a nutritious and warming soup on a cold winter's day.
Sorry to hear that your little ones are feeling so poorly. Hope you are all on the mend soon.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

Thanks honey, yes the lentils are a good idea. I do need to put them in my list!0 -
I use Flash tough stain spray cleaner with bleach. It costs £1. There's one for the kitchen and one for the bathroom but from what I can tell they're the same so I just pick any up now and use for both rooms. I find it works well on stains.
I shopped at Lidl for years and always thought it was brilliant. I'm back at Tesco now because having a delivery works for me at the moment. I also like being able to see what it's going to cost and then take stuff out that we really don't need.
Your shopping list looks good for £35 and the £20 from Ebay is great news. Hope the little ones turn a corner soon and start to feel better x0 -

Thanks Teafor2. I’ll try my spray in the bathroom and see how I get on. I used to always shop online. But I’m saving so much in lidl and I can more or less work out the prices from my supermarket and by memory.
Children are still so poorly, such a high temp and fever have run out of calpol! BF will get some on his way home hopefully. Do think I’m going to be under house arrest for at least another couple of days!
But I’m feeling a little better so that’s good.0 -
Haven’t gone to bed yet due to both children being so so poorly with a high temp. Both have spiked such a fever they’re boiling. Roo is hallucinating and keeps asking why the cat is going mad running around. The cats asleep! I bought them both down into the lounge as it’s cooler, May just sat and silent tears fell she felt so poorly. I let them both fall asleep again and have put them both back to bed. I’m really hoping they can sleep it off.
I’ve never seen them so ill.0 -
If they are still very hot this morning, run a tepid bath, which will help to bring their temperature down. That was my doctor's advice to me when one of my DDs' temperature was scarily high.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

Hi Missy, how are the little ones doing? The tepid bath is a good idea and do you have a fan you can put on? We were told by our GP to take DS to A&E when he was a toddler his temperature was so high. Very scary indeed, but all they did was strip him and put a fan on him. It felt really cruel because he was shivering so much bless him, my instinct was to cover him up. Hope they start to improve. You must be exhuasted with it all.
