Recovery Partition - full

I keep getting an error on a PC when I try to run the defrag saying that my D: Recovery Partition only has 10% space and that it needs 15 % to run.

I have searched the net and foune a solution to stop the message but to me this is not a fix.

I want to clean out any rubbish and had a look but can't see any unwanted files, but then don't really know what to look for.

Do I just leave alone or is there somethng I can do.

Why are you trying to DeFrag your Recovery Partition? Leave it alone. :) Concentrate on the C drive.

I wasn't purposely trying to. I was just running the defrag as normal and it just came up saying unable to defrag as recovery Partition d drive only has 10% space and it needs 15% do I want to continue anyway.

    Any ideas anyone?

I just want to clean it so that I can do a full defrag - or does it not matter that I can't

As Donnie has already said, just concentrate on your C:\ drive. You don't need to defrag the recovery partition.

You 'right click' on the C: drive and run the DeFrag from there. No need to involve the D: drive.
