Hi new to this site so hope you and input incorrectly.
My wife Received a penalty charge in Aug 18 from smart parking for on authorised parking on land This is Erith Riverside shopping centre she was within the 3 hrs time limit which is free she is disabled and has a bad gusto parked within a disabled bay she got tickets from the machine but only could put in first 4 digits picture take show reg and times entering and leaving we appealed and this got rejected by Popla now it has been passed to DRP debt recovery can anyone help

POPLA nowadays is mainly a junk organisation and you must have got the teaboy/girl as your assessor ??

No worries the courts often go against a POPLA decision

DRP ????? We tell people every day to ignore DRP as they 100% powerless and live in the sewers

1) No she did not, she received a PARKING charge notice, not a PENALTY charge notice

2) so a machine issue , not her fault

3) DRP are powerless - so IGNORE them

4) not at this stage, but come back if an LoC or MCOL arrive within 6 years


I would suggest a complaint to the Landowner or Managing Agent, citing the Equality Act 2010 and insisting on a cancelletion

If the keeper had appealed to POPLA, without saying who was driving or trying to talk about the story of what happened, the case would have been won. Such a shame.

Never mind, ignore Smart, who at the time of posting this, do not sue people.

But due to this, below, I would complain to the retail park Management about disability discrimination and get them to cancel it, as they CERTAINLY can and should:
