    Looking for holiday advice please.

Complete Vegas novices, never been, not a gambler, but like the idea of a base in order to visit Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam etc, time round the pool, looking to possibly go in June.

    Any advice greatly appreciated.
We are not gamblers yet go for 2 weeks at a time and still struggle to fit everything in even with trip number 21 coming up.

If you haven't done so already, read Page 1 of this thread which should have all the info you need. Then if you have specific questions after that, fire away.

All I would say is if you are thinking of going this June, I wouldn't hang about as prices will start to rise the nearer you get to departure.

Duly purchased for both of us. Thanks again for the heads up.

When I eventually looked at the deals email I got from TZ a couple of days earlier, it was the first deal mentioned. Doh! I might have noticed it if I'd been at home and not here with limited access to the internet. I was chuffed that I'd spotted the Mob Museum appear for the first time just before we left as I was struggling to find any discounts for that.

Just a heads up for anyone considering the Neon Museum. You can get a Neon / Mob Museum combo ticket on the Neon Museum website, but it is right at the bottom of the options and not available with the Neon / Brilliant! show combo.

Just make sure you have paid even 1p to Thomas Cook on a credit card to get Section 75 protection, assuming that you have booked direct with them. You could also check your travel insurance as not all policies cover End Supplier Failure.

Aye hopefully they dont go belly-up, given Im going in September from Manchester with them. Just looked how much an alternate flight would cost on the same dates from the same airport with Virgin Atlantic and it would cost me about 85% more, and thats in economy (booked PE with TC).

If you've paid them directly via Credit Card you'll have section 75 protection.

Get that travel insurance (with airline failure!) sorted pronto if you think they'll go under.

I doubt they will go under to be honest. Worst comes to worse, they'll be bought out as they have a decent amount of long-haul slots coveted by other airlines!

Getting the money back is fair enough, its having to book an alternative flight in an inferior seat at double the cost, no doubt more when the demand goes up. Hopefully doesnt come to that.

Quite a good deal on MGM properties at the moment.
$75- $50 per night room credit on most resorts.
Booked 3 night stay at The Park MGM as a “fall back” if I don’t get anymore comped rooms offered.

    https://www.vegas-hotels-online.com

Credit can be used at over 300 food and drinks places throughout MGM properties.
