Can anyone recommend a good brand of Sanitary towel?
I have such problems with them and they drive me up the wall. (I can't use tampons anymore). Usually they're just not long enough and they stick to themsleves before they stick to my underwear, or they don't stick at all and disappear down my trouser leg.

You say you can’t use tampons, would you try a mooncup? For the initial cost of £15 or so they pay for themselves within months.Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.0

I only use Always. I just don't find any of the others as good. I tend to use the night ones on heavy days because they are the only ones long enough. Obviously you wouldn't want to wear them under super tight trousers.0 -
I cannot use Always or indeed most towels as they have that weird blue stuff in them. I can recommend Natracare, and also Kotex maxi or night time towels for heavier daystaking a self-enforced break from this forum due to the persistent and ongoing troll problem, and the systematic abuse of the report button system in order to get people/usernames banned0

If you want towels rather than internally worn protection, you could look into reusables, usually called cloth san pro (CSP). You can get them custom made but they come in a huge variety of sizes and shapes - far more variety than disposables - so there should be something to suit you ready made, just have a look at the measurements when you order.0

I have back problems and simply can't bend far enough to get tampons or anything internal in far enough to be comfortable.
I have investigated CSP before and they are just not practical for me, also I read that they move around more than 'traditional' protection and as I have issues making 'traditional' stay put as it is I'm not sure how I'd get on with CSP.
I tend to use Always as well.0 -
If you're finding a pad not long enough, then you could try putting two on at a time. One at the front and one at the back to meet in the middle.
I have done this in the past for extra security when heavy.
Have you tried ones with wings? They can stay in place better.0 -
Night pads are much longer.
If you are having trouble with pads moving around have you tried different underwear? I find full briefs that are fairly snug (but not tight) move around least and hold things in place. Also definitely to wings! But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

The trick with reusable cloth pads is to wear snug underwear and the wil stay put. You can get custom orders so if you are finding you need an extra long pad you can get one made.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. I can recommend Kernow Kloth reusables, they have a soft velour backing and it seems to make them stay wherever I position them. Had some for a couple of years now and they still look new.***Mortgage Free Oct 2018 - Debt Free again (after detour) June 2022***
