I just had a parcel delivered to a different address, and I was at home all the time ready to receive it. I had to phone round and locate it myself. They had my phone number as well but never even bothered to find the right address. So is the courier required to deliver it to the address I gave them ( my address ) or is it up to me to go and collect it from wherever they decide to dump it ?

I even wrote the exact location of where to deliver it on the order notes.

Do you know where it is? If so go get it, if not tell the retailer the parcel hasn't been delivered and let them deal with it.


From your post though it looks like you know where it is so you can save all the hassle and just go get it. Why look for fights you probably won't win anyway.

The only hassle has been put on me, I had to wait 4 days for a 24 hr courier service, and they didn't deliver it to me , or tell where they left it.

Surely this isn't acceptable for the consumer ?

Reject the item and claim a full refund if you're unhappy.
