Proof of Previous Addresses

Hi all,
Last year as a student I requested a copy of my credit file. Whilst completing all the previous address fields I added in a friend's address who I briefly stayed with over the summer break. I was still registered at the bank and on the electoral roll as living at my university address at the time, so there shouldn't be any credit history whatsoever at my friend's address. I had no lease agreement or anything to prove I was staying there, things were pretty informal.
I have read a few threads regarding issues with previous addresses when trying to get a mortgage etc. I am worried that although there won't be any bad credit linked to me at my friend's address, I also can't prove I stayed there if they requested proof. I am also unsure if being a guest rather than an actual tenant would count as 'living at an address' and am therefore questioning whether I should have put the address into my credit file at all?
Can any of you advise if this is likely to be an issue for me? I have proof of living at my actual university address during this time (bank statements, electoral roll, etc.), so they can trace me somewhere during that time.. Would you suggest contacting Experian and explaining being a student/having two(ish) addresses and requesting that my friend's one be removed?
Basically I'm worried I've added in some additional information to my credit file which wasn't needed and will instead cause me issues later on.
I look forward to your replies, and many thanks in advance for any advice you can give.

Credit is linked to a person not an address0

Hey Hun, if you have never had any credit or been on electoral role at your friends address you should be fine. It’s only if a credit account has had that address on file a link would appear0
