PIP review/renewal question

Hello
I have four year PIP award due to run out in June 2019. I received a review form last June, as I hear is the norm a year before expiration. After going through a review there has been no change to my award i.e. I still receive the enhanced daily living rate.
My query is whether the award will still expire in June 2019 or does the review process supercede that. Will I need to start a new claim come June? I can't seem to find any info regarding the difference between a review and a renewal. Materially they seem the same as the form was as detailed as the original but it being a few months ago I can't quite remember. The paperwork I received back from the DWP didn't indicate an 'expiry' or go into any of this.
Thanks so much
Elizabeth

You should have received a letter confirming the new decision even if it is the same as the previous decision. The new letter should tell you the new end date as well as where you scored the points giving you the award. If the letter you have definitely doesn’t do this I suggest ringing DWP.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0
