Dutch eco initiative halves energy bills in first UK homes.
Anyone heard of it? Comments? I would love to get my home into a condition where it retains some heat and stop wasting so much energy. Aesthetically, the cladding is not in keeping with my home and the surrounding properties and will mark my property out as an eyesore. As for economies of scale, I hazard a guess that I am not alone in finding the projected reduction from £85k to £62k per property at the end of the programme to be completely unaffordable - I'll be dead before I see the cost benefit!
When will there be an affordable and energy-efficient solution for older homes with no cavity walls?
