What does functional history mean on PIP assessor report?

What is the functional history section of the PIP assessors report? Does that only include what you said during the face to face assessment or can it include things you have said elsewhere like on the AR1 form or in letters and phone calls

It's what you can or can't do. They should take into consideration everything, including the face to face assessment but they don't always do this.



Have you looked at the boxes with dots or ticks to see what score is recommended? Use the PIP descriptors to do that. They usually go with the report.

It's supposed to describe a typical day.
"The ‘typical day’ is a tool used to explore the claimant’s perception of how they manage their daily living, and the nature and extent of the functional limitations resulting from their health condition or impairment. The HP should explore any variability or fluctuation in the claimant's condition and functional ability by asking the claimant what they can do on "good" days and "bad" days. How many "good" and "bad" days do they have over a period of time? "
