From Samsung to Honor 7: Old whatsapp messages Issues

Good evening,

I was using Samsung then have to change to Honor 7x but some important whatsapp messages were NOT carried over. In fact all messages 5-6 weeks were NOT there.

What can i do?

    Did you back up your Whatsapp messages within the app before changing over?
    Go back to the samsung and see if they are still there. If they are just back them up....Settings - Chats - Chat Backup - Back up....

    If you didn't back up Whatapp when you swapped the phone, and if you don't have the Samsung anymore, pretty much nothing you can do.
