Buying a car still on finance

I used HPI check recently I have not bought a vehicle for at least 6 years and all the bad press made me want the best, yeah well I got HPI check instead. Basically turns out I filled out a box on there website with 19/01/19 but that was the wrong date, should have been the date of the last vehicle change, but the question was misleading got a warning so phoned the 0300 7906802 number for D.V.L.A that was given to me by HPI, got told documents OK, the motor seller got really fed up with me while I faffed about with this issue! I phoned HPI and got mucked about with a young lad who told me he would get a Manager to ring me, so waited for an hour nothing, I rang them again 23hours later, and got a very polite woman who told me lots of people put the wrong date in that box!!! as they get confused! well I pointed out they should make it clearer! she said "I should not have rung the D.V.L.A." I pointed out the phone number was for the D.V.L.A. was on there site "She said well that should not happen" I asked could I at least get £10.00 for the hassle she "we don't give refunds" WOW talk about arrogant bleep bleeps, crepe service and total t*ssers, told her I would leave bad review on net said "well that is your choice" good grief!!
