You know you need to be looking south of the river and most likely south-east London.
London property's not priced for single buyers, only couples/group of relatives/friends or foreign oligarchs/plutocrats.There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
Have you considered places on the St Pancras High Speed Railway into Kent? I live 16 mins from St Pancras, then get on the underground within minutes to anywhere in London? Easily afford nice one bed flats in decent areas, possibly two bed or even a house.0

When you put a search into rightmove, you can either draw a map of the areas you want, or you can put the first half of the postcode in. I presume you'd be thinking of N/NW/EN/UB/HA, maybe some of W/TW/WD?
The Wikipedia pages for each postcode give decent maps and lists of what areas are in each postcode. For eg: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NW_postcode_area0 -
Camden is a big area, but if you look on the Thameslink line south of the river then you can get direct trains to St Pancras or Kentish Town.

There are some flats around Nunhead station and Bellingham station within your price range.0 -
Hows your Hebrew? That budget should be achievable in Edgware, which is linked to Camden on the Northern Line.0
