  • I don't think I'm breaking any rules if I state that I buy birthday and Christmas cards from a parent of one of the children in my daughter's class ;)

Also, I find google a useful search tool ;)

    Good luck, Tracy
  • Be careful when Googling - for more information you need to look at the company's main UK website. Lots of the top Google hits are pages of individual traders. If you find the Australian website there is a link there to the UK website. For some reason they make the UK one hard to find.

There is plenty of information on there about the company, how to join up, and a link to get more details. If you already know someone who is trading you can ask for them to be your sponsor, otherwise the company will allocate one to you.

Don't think I have broken any rules there :) Happy to help further if I can!

Mods, can you let me know if it is OK to post a link to the website - there would be no gain in it for me as there are no referrer links?

  • Hi spiddy100

Can you tell me more about this Phoenix.

    Hope this is ok.

I think Avon and Betterware are a good bet. Thats what my wife and I are doing at the moment. I work full time and my wife does the door to door, we have three little ones.

    Cheers
I do Avon too, but I also do FM alongside it too. I have a little boy aged 5 and it works just fine for me, plus it pays my mortgage.

HI , you could try being a survey taker there are some good sites like www.yougov.com where you can take surveys for money although they dont pay much and the cash isnt instant its gatherd up and sent out when you reach £50 , (depending on the critera you enter about yourself you can get anything from 4 surveys upwards per month , or if you fit a certian group of people you may get more and reach your £50 total quicker
Hi, Have you tried this yourself as I would love to give it a go but I'm a bit nervous about trying things new.
  • Beauty79, I've done YouGov and other survey sites. It's really easy, you sign up and give them some details about yourself and your household. Then they email you when there's a survey that matches your details. You do it all online. You answer a few questions about yourself first so they can see whether you match the criteria of what they are looking for - e.g. they might be looking for women 18-75 who drink more than one cup of tea a day. They won't tell you that but will ask your age and how much tea you drink.

If you match the criteria they then go on to ask you questions, often about a new product or advertising campaign. You answer the questions they set (normally multiple choice, asking whether you would buy it, what you like about it etc).

They will pay either points or money into your account. When you reach the minimum amount, you can transfer the money out, either into vouchers or straight into your paypal or bank account.

It is really easy, the only thing I found was it can take quite a while to earn enough money to transfer out (especially with Yougov!). It's also worth making notes of which surveys you have filled out, as it can take quite a while for your earnings to show up in your account so you need to know which ones you have done and what you should have earned.

PS One perk as a SAHM is you can sometimes get nappies or other baby products to test out - free nappies :j :j
