New Credit Card Advice please

Hi,
My husband and I just paid off the balance on our 0% virgin credit card we have. We are now looking to get a new 0% credit card. We did the credit card eligibility checker and got 95% for Barclaycard and 90% for Sainsbury's.
So tonight we sat and tried to fill out the info for the Barclaycard however we were expecting it to be like the previous Virgin one we had where it asks for partners income, additional card holder etc. This didn't ask any of those questions. Therefore we feel as though the credit limit given may be less as based on his income alone rather than our incomes together. It also didn't ask for things like number of dependents or monthly mortgage cost. Is this normal and would it be likely he would get a smaller credit limit? Or should we look at Sainsbury's instead? Were hoping for approx £2k limit. Our previous card was £1.6k.
Sorry for all the questions - 1st time posting!
Thanks

Regardless of partners income you’ll get a limit appropriate to your income and outgoings and their assessment of your credit history0

So even on another credit card, if we were asked partners income, would that not influence the credit limit?0
-
Very unlikely. The partner income question tends to only be asked as a a guide to the likelihood of getting paid if you default.0
