So the story goes i got a message on my phone telling me my everyday accounrt was close to its limit on the 2nd of Jan. Thought that was a bit odd...went and looked, Sky had taken out the best pasrt of £100,,,my wife pays the Sky after we had a swaparound of DD's in probably 2016
We've had a problem before where they decided we had two accounts at one address which they say wasn't posssible...
So my wifes been paying since the tailend of 2016 as far as i can remember...then they started taking money back out of my account July 2017 after months of not taking a penny...to this date they have taken over £1200
After spending a very long time on the phone with them, as i say the have offered to refund me £85 out of that £1200, seems it was our fault we ended up with two accounts at the same adress,,,which they say isn't possible.
My question is, who the hell do we go to next because that ain't a small amount of money...
TIA

If it's as simple as you changed the account the payment was to be taken from , and they continued to take a DD from both the old and new account , then as you were paying twice for one service, I would have thought they legally would have to refund in full the total amount taken in error by them.
If it were a little more complex and you had two 'accounts' one in your name and one in your wife's name and the idea was to cancel the one in your name once the one in your wires name was up and running, then perhaps you should have at least checked, but having said that, if they contend that you had two separate services, did they turn up to fit a second system , a second phone line and a second broadband ( presumably if it were £100 a month you had three services with them, or possibly six services according to them)

I think the links and addresses in the following are still all valid:

Was it a DD or a CPA that was setup?0
